Kurosawa's Samurai Banner Posters and Art

Description: A rough, yet elegant banner. The pattern on the banner holds meaning too. Heihachi, the woodcutting samurai, makes it for them, and it reflects some of his whimsy and quiet mischief. The six circles on the top represent the six "proper" samurai in their company. The symbol at the bottom means "tanbo" or rice paddy. It's supposed to represent the farmers who the samurai are defending. (It's interesting that the samurai each get their own symbol, but the farmers are still lumped into one big group; some class differences are still in place). Between them stands a triangle representing Kikuchiyo: the outsider of the bunch who stands balanced between the samurai and the peasants they're protecting.

45 RPM Record Adapter Posters and Art

Description: If you remember these, you are cool. If you still have some, you are beyond cool. A 45 rpm adapter (also known as a 45 rpm record insert, 45 rpm spindle adapter, spider, or 7-inch adapter in reference the usual size of a 45 rpm record) is a small plastic or metal insert that goes in the middle of a 45-rpm record so it can be played on the standard size spindle of a turntable. The adapter may be a small solid circle that fits onto the spindle (meaning only one 45 could be played at a time) or a larger adapter that fits over the entire spindle of a record changer, permitting a stack of 45s to be played. These larger adapters allowing multiple records to be played are often referred to as 45 spindles.

Man From Atlantis Posters and Art
